Greetings Surveyors! It's been awhile, hasn't it? I apologize for that, things took a lot longer than I expected them to, but I have some exciting news:
For Mother Matron is getting a big update on NOVEMBER 17TH!
This update aims to add some much needed polish and quality of life to the game that I feel was necessary. Additionally, I've added some new features that will enhance the experience for new players while also giving old players a reason to revisit.
KEY FEATURES
Difficulty Options - You can now adjust the strictness of the decision timers with three difficulty options. "Threatening" is the game as it has always been with some minor adjustments to make it a little more fair, "Relaxed" gives you lots of time to choose, and then "Life Is Miserable" is for sickos with crazy reaction speed. These options do not affect the story or achievement progression, so use whichever you prefer! You can change this at any time.
Lizzy's Journal - Learn more about the world of For Mother Matron and Lizzy's thoughts on it! As you progress through the game, her journal will update with new entries that add more context and lore. Some entries feature illustrations too!

Some new backgrounds and character art
Script Improvements
Bugfixes
And much more!
The update will be dropping on NOVEMBER 17TH, which marks the 5th anniversary of For Mother Matron, having originally released as a scrappy prototype on itch.io on that day in 2020. Time sure flies!
You'll get much more detailed patch notes and screenshots when the update is out, but for now I gotta put my head down and make sure everything's ready by then! See you all soon!
