For players of Standard Edition or the Free Starter Pack, full launch is live from:
1600 BST on PlayStation & Xbox
1800 BST on Steam & Epic Games
Train Sim World: Free Starter Pack
Also out now is the Free Starter Pack, which will allow players to upgrade to Train Sim World 6 for free. The Free Starter Pack includes Training Center and 5 different trains to learn.
It does not contain the routes or locomotives included in other Editions of Train Sim World 6.
Separate route and loco Add-ons
The individual route and loco Add-ons for Train Sim World 6 are also now available to purchase.
Train Sim World 6: Boxed Edition
We can confirm that a boxed copy of Train Sim World 6 will be coming to selected platforms at a later date.

Important News for Epic Games Players
Following our previous statements in our FAQs concerning compatible content for Epic Games players, we have some good news!
Your entire Train Sim World collection will be coming with you in Train Sim World 6!
Our team have been working hard behind the scenes to support the releases, which will come in phases over the coming weeks.
The rollout plan:
Phase 1, Launch: At launch (Phase 1), you’ll be able to bring with you 43 Add-ons, featuring some of your favourite content, alongside content featured in editions of TSW6, and some of the content that layers into the new routes.
Phase 2, October 14: This will be followed on October 14 by Phase 2, with 17 additional pieces of content.
Future Phases: We will confirm dates for future phases to release the remaining Add-ons as soon as we can.

Known Issues & Future Patch Update Comms
Today we’re sharing a full plan of our approach for upcoming TSW6 improvements, and a rough timeline of when you can expect these updates to arrive. Our teams are working hard to make sure we keep the TSW6 experience as smooth as possible, prioritising key community-reported issues and folding these into our update plan.
Currently, our team are working towards the first few patches, and we’ve detailed a summary for the issues we’re aiming to include in each of these drops. As a disclaimer, this won’t be the entire list of changes, and some items may be subject to change, but this is an overview of the key improvements our teams are working towards, and when you can expect them.
TSW6 Patch One (arrived today) to improve key issues from early access, including:
PS5 Audio popping and crackling
PS5 Audio cutting out during gameplay
Removed train faults from incorrectly appearing in scenarios
Fixed an issue causing Dovetail Live login to not appear when selecting the ‘sign in’ option.
Fixed an issue causing an incorrect controller layout to appear in the UI.
Fixed an issue causing announcements to stop playing after 20 minutes.
Added the ‘climb up’ prompt that was missing from Summit platforms.
Removed the headlight objectives for Leipzig’s Big Helper scenario to prevent it from bring incompletable.
Fixed a display issue on the DB BR 442 causing the HUD and screens to report power being applied when no power is actually being applied during wheel slide conditions.

TSW6 Patch Two (Expected next week)
to target further key reported community issues.
TSW6 Patch Three (2-3 Weeks post-launch)
will target more reported issues/feedback.
The patches won’t stop after this, our teams will continue to bring regular improvements to TSW6 built from our internal reports, community raised issues and general feedback we’re seeing.

and prepare to slow down when you least expect it.

Roam the platforms and check tickets in Conductor Mode all to a tune of audio announcements.
Tailor your experience.
Manage your layers, alter the frequency of faults and toggle new audio settings for a bespoke experience.
