Greetings players!
It's been over a month since the last update, and while it may seem that the development of the game has slowed down, the truth is, that it really hasn't! There has been a lot of changes behind the scenes that aim to improve the performance and stability of the game. However, the team has put up an update with some brand new changes for you to enjoy! Here are the changes:
General
Added a new medal!
Patriot: Awarded for completing 10/50/100 challenges.
Added background to the game page.
Scaled down the size of the game to be more like it was before.
Added buttons to change the zoom level. Zoom level can also be changed with CTRL + mouse wheel scroll.
Strength now (slightly) affects the damage output of all weapons. The more strength you have, the more damage the weapons will deal!
Updated collisions for all maps.
This includes several fixes and some surfaces which allowed bullets to go through will no longer allow it.
Single Player mode has been updated:
Bots now have different behaviors which determine their playstyle:
Aggressive: They will actively go to your position and will shoot slightly faster than normal.
Tactical: They can crawl and crouch.
Defensive: They will run away from you if you get close to them.
Bots now have the same range as the player (before they had slightly less range than them).
Added a 2-second spawn protection to prevent bots from instantly killing you.
Weapons in the shop are now ordered by their unlock level.
Major revamps under the hood that should improve performance.
Improved performance for bullets, explosions, critical hits, and more!
Added a restriction to how often a player can enter a room.
Now players can no longer log into the game simultaneously with more than 1 account per IP.
Improved server stability.
QoL improvements
Added a new panel where you can see the game rules and news without having to leave it. To access it, click the "?" button at the top right corner of the screen in the lobby.
This panel will open up automatically when a new update arrives.
Updated "Terms of Service" text on login screen to reflect the previous addition.
Added an alert when trying to use unauthorized characters in your nickname. This alert will also copy all allowed characters into your clipboard.
Camera shake can now be toggled in the settings.
Mouse sensitivity now can also be changed in the settings.
Balance changes
Slightly increased accuracy for Barrett, PG Mark I, and PG Mark II.
Bug fixes
Fixed challenges being skippable after completing them.
Fixed Railgun and Void Reaper's projectiles spawning in the wrong position.
Fixed issues with spawning on the wrong sides in Elimination rooms.
Fixed issues with displaying incorrect frames/durations.
Fixed a bug where medals would not be properly shown on other profiles.
Fixed challenges being completed by room score rather than player score.
Fixed issues related to the active day streak popup.
Fixed an issue where the preferred music selection did not save properly.
Fixed customized keys not updating until rejoin.
Fixed word wrapping in lobby chat.
Several fixes to the sound engine.
Known bugs
Bots may appear floating when crawling.
