Hi everyone,
As many of you know, the last INFLUXIS update Beta 0.1, was released more than a year and a half ago. It has had a lot of issues that have been unresolved, especially regarding optimization, but it also brought a beautiful vast world to explore, which I am very proud of.
Unfortunately, the project files are a mess, which is why it hasn’t been possible for me to update it since, not even for small quality of life changes. I have tried multiple ways of making it work and improving on it but sadly it usually led to more things breaking. For the game to become better, it would require a full rework of the project from the ground up.
Which is what I am doing. Kinda. I am working on a new game, Exonautis. A vast alien world where you explore mesmerizing sunlit alien reefs and terrors of the depths. The world this loving community deserves.
I am writing this to say that this is the beginning of something beautiful. INFLUXIS will remain free, a love letter to this wonderful community, and I will be releasing updates on EXONAUTIS very soon.
