After carefully reviewing the project, I’ve decided to implement major adjustments to The Rewinder 2 in the following areas:
Redesigning the "Rewind" levels
Revamping village stories
Adjusting the narrative
Reworking map designs
Improving combat mechanics
Enhancing puzzle-solving and deduction elements
English Translation
I hope to bring these changes to refine the overall gameplay experience.
Given that the studio has disbanded and our funds are exhausted, this overhaul will require more time. However, I promise to complete all updates within six months. To keep players informed, we’ll release regular progress reports detailing the current status and completed tasks. I encourage everyone to follow our discord or social media—not only to stay updated but also to hold us accountable.
Since we want to focus our efforts on polishing the game to its ideal state, The Rewinder 2 won’t receive major updates in the short term. However, we’ll continue fixing bugs and technical issues. I hope that after this large-scale update, The Rewinder 2 will finally meet everyone’s expectations.
Lastly, I want to address the overwhelming response to my previous letter. I received many messages of support, encouragement, and constructive criticism. Many players even offered suggestions or expressed a desire to help the studio in various ways—thank you all so much for your kindness.
