🧟♂️ Cursed Deal – Hotfix Patch Notes
First of all, we want to thank everyone who discovered us during the Zombies vs Vampires Steam Event. Your support and feedback have helped us improve the game in meaningful ways. We’re incredibly grateful to have such a passionate community backing us. ❤️
⚙️ Game System Changes:
- You can now earn XP and level up in Solo Mode. This has been a long-requested feature from solo players and is finally here!
🎮 Gameplay Changes:
- The sprint mechanic for gamepads has been reworked: sprinting now uses a toggle method instead of hold.
- Human jump height increased by 16%, giving you slightly more vertical mobility.
🧠 Skill Changes:
- The Eye of the Crow skill can now be manually exited at any time.
- At the end of Eye of the Crow, you will now return to your crow’s last position, not your original location.
🐞 Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the game would close Discord or other background applications unexpectedly.
- Fixed a bug where entering the menu during "waiting for players" or while transforming into the creature caused players to become stuck and unable to return to the game.
- Fixed an issue where the Push-to-Talk voice setting would automatically switch back to “Always On” after the match ends.
🖥️ UI Fixes:
- 60 FPS cap added to the main menu to improve performance and reduce unnecessary GPU usage.
- Fixed a bug where you couldn’t exit the keybinding screen.
- Removed the menu shake animation to improve clarity and visual comfort.
- We've added a microphone icon for players using Push-to-Talk while in the menu.
- Fixed text overflow in the “No Game Result” screen.
- Fixed font size issues in the “Only Leader Can Search Game” popup button.
🗺️ Map/Environment Changes:
- Invisible walls and barriers have been removed from the playable area and replaced with fences. However, in rare cases, you might still encounter invisible boundaries to prevent players from getting stuck in unwanted spots when using Bat or Crow transformation abilities.
- Based on how streamers and players navigated the map, we observed common movement paths. To address visual inconsistencies caused by players running between trees and rocks, we’ve added new side paths to guide movement more naturally.
- A wooden bridge has been added to the forest area to better blend with the environment and improve navigation.
🔍 Known Issues – Under Investigation:
- The mini-game UI sometimes does not disappear and remains on screen until the match ends. We are still investigating this issue.
- Gamepad sensitivity settings appear to be working during our internal tests, but we’re monitoring reports for edge cases.
- Creature crouch mode setting not saving – currently working as intended in our testing, but we’re continuing to monitor.
- Although it’s not very frequent, some players may occasionally experience random connection timeout issues.
