Warden, field conditions evolve – and so must we. This update brings new tactical options for both seasoned operatives and those just entering the shadows.
🟢 New Difficulty: “Easy” Mode
A new difficulty setting has been added for players who wish to focus more on the story and atmosphere of Twilight Wars, without the pressure of brutal encounters.
- Agents have more health and deal increased damage.
- The Agency starts with a larger amount of money, allowing you to “skip days” more freely to recover agent health and morale.
- Designed for a relaxed experience. Combat is still tactical, but the heat is turned down.
⚙️ Adjustments to “Recommended” Mode
- Enemies no longer deal devastating critical hits.
- Starting funds have been increased, making day-skipping for recovery more accessible.
Please note: to access these changes, you’ll need to start a new game and select the mode you wish to play in during the initial setup. It does not apply retroactively to existing save files.
⏩ Additional Settings
New speed-up options are now available to those who’ve made themselves familiar with the base, and really, really hate to wait:
- Combat animations
- Message popups in the in-game messenger
These will be especially useful for Warden-level operatives who’ve already spent several hours in the field and wish to streamline the routine.
🔧 Localization Fixes
- A number of localization issues have been corrected based on community feedback.
