What We've Been Working On📌
We've essentially been researching how we can improve the canvas system so that it can work reliably on bigger maps without cluttering the GPU VRAM (the memory of your graphics card!) too much. As the maps get bigger and bigger, we need bigger and bigger texture and we need to find solution to mitigate the consequences of that.
Depending on how long this takes, we might rollback to a previous version of the canvas to keep pushing some fixes and updates until we get a result satisfying enough. Our goal is to improve the quality without reducing the performances too much.
