Dev Log
DSS was originally planned as a hobby project, but after over a year of unemployment, I decided to go professional and give it a shot on the market.
I've been reading up on game marketing and have spent a significant part of development making the game more appealing — improving the HUD and allowing city defenses to be built freely, anywhere on the map.
That said, I know I'm working in the "ugly but deep" category of games, so most of the marketing will focus on the demo (coming next month).
Other new features include:
- Three times more resources, buildings, and soldier types
- Skills and a technology tree
- A new villain introduces horde waves
- Tactical controls during battle
- (Maybe multiplayer)
