This balance patch aims to shake up the meta.
Venus Flytrap and Butternut Squash are seeing nerfs as they were very dominant.
Buffed builds include the new "Impairment" build, shrooms, fruits and roots.
Balance changes:
- 🟢Liquorice: 0.46 attack speed --> 0.48 attack speed
- 🟢Cinnamon: 500 range --> 580 range | 6 HP --> 7 HP | 0.46 attack speed --> 0.48 attack speed
- 🔴Venus Flytrap: 0.42 attack speed --> 0.37 attack speed
- 🔴Butternut Squash: Battlecry: Give all 3-tile crops +1 DMG & +2 HP --> Battlecry: Give all 3-tile crops +1 DMG.
- 🟢Redcap: 0.46 attack speed --> 0.52 attack speed.
- 🟡Morel: New ability: Gives +1 melee damage. | 2 DMG 8 HP --> 1 DMG, 6 HP | 2 field occupation --> 1 field occupation. //Dev comment: The game has been in need of the old cauliflower ability ever since it left. This is a buff to redcaps, tomato, pumpkin and melee builds in general! Also the Morel didn't really have any identity.
- 🟡Tomato: Ability text clarification: On Death: Explode, dealing its damage.
- 🟢Avocado: 400 range --> 460 range
- 🟢Onion: 17 HP --> 18 HP
- 🟢Apple: 5 HP --> 6 HP
Other:
- Flame Totem (attack speed) has been temporarily disabled in duos due to the attack speed buff not transferring to teammate nor the database.
Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where Cinnamon would not buff Jalapeño and Cayenne.
- Now properly de-selects Cinnamon when you click on any loadout.
- The bullets from Quinoa blast will only spawn particle effects as long as there are less than 32 bullets on screen. (To try to avoid crashing in massive quinoa-blasts in duos.)
As always, the PvP environment might contain unchanged crops for a few hours until it settles.
