An Honest Update — Fictorum News

Hey Wizards,

I wanted to take a moment to give you an honest update and hopefully clear up any speculation.

Greg and I are in very different places in our lives than we were when we started working on Fictorum over a decade ago. Since then, we’ve both had kids, and our day jobs and families demand more of our time than ever. As much as we love this project, development has currently come to a stop. We’ve also been exploring new game ideas—or just taking a much-needed break from game development.

There was so much more we wanted to do with Fictorum, and maybe someday we’ll get back to it. But right now, with just the two of us and everything else on our plates, it’s not something we can keep developing. We will keep you posted if that changes.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us on this journey. Your enthusiasm and feedback have meant the world to us. Making this game has been one of the most meaningful experiences of our lives, and we’re proud of what we accomplished.

I sincerely hope you had fun with the game and that it lived up to your expectations. Thank you for playing.
