CHALLENGE MODES

NEW END GAME CONTENT

It's taken a while, but I'm happy to announce that challenge modes and 20 new achievements are now in the game! Once you've beaten the game for the first time, you'll have access to challenge modes via a button in the bottom right (above restart).

Putting more "Rogue" in RoGlass

Complete various achievements in this meta version of RoGlass and get as far as you can in each mode. Challenge modes have special modifiers that twist the rules of the game, so you'll have to think differently about how you play. Start from the beginning with a limited number of restarts, but keep various upgrades from meta achievements that you earn.

Five new ways to play

Challenge modes change the base game of RoGlass in a way that will make you think differently about how to score points, earn achievements, and place tiles! Here's a brief summary of each:

Basic Challenge

Play through RoGlass with a limited number of restarts and see how far you can get. Unlock achievements to reveal additional challenge modes.

Unlimited Tiles Challenge

Place as many tiles as you have space for! However, you have very few restarts, so you'll have to be clever about how you plan to get various achievements with only a few rounds.

Low Score Challenge

Waste not, want not! In this challenge, you'll start with many more restarts, but lose them as you score points.

Always Rolling Challenge

The supply rerolls when you place a tile. Use this excess of RNG to your advantage and decide what tile is most valuable moment to moment.

Adjacency Challenge

Tiles must be placed adjacent to each other (the first tile can be placed anywhere each round). Work your way through achievements by planning ahead!

I hope you enjoy these new twists to RoGlass as many of you have been looking for more reasons to keep playing. Thank you so much for the support!

Side note: If you have reset your progress, you should still have access to the new challenge modes right away, and if you ever do a full reset, you can start challenge modes without having to play the base game all the way through again.
