Achievements updates
Read the original on Steam ↗When I started working on the sequel to Destropolis, the topic of achievements in the first Destropolises was brought up on Discord.
I admit that when I was making them, I didn't attach much importance to them. They were made as an afterthought. The number of points required to get an achievement was was made up out of thin air and not based on any calculations.
After talking to the players, we determined what the values should be. And here they are:
- 1 Megapoint - stays the same
- 2 Megapoints - is now 5 Megapoints
- 5 Megapoints - is now 10 Megapoints
- 10 Megapoints - is now 15 Megapoints
- 20 Megapoints - is now 25 Megapoints
- 50 Megapoints - is now 35 Megapoints
- 100 Megapoints - is now 50 Megapoints
- 200 Megapoints - is now 65 Megapoints
- 500 Megapoints - is now 80 Megapoints
- 1 Gigapoint - is now 100 Megapoints
This way the achievements are more achievable. Previously there was too much grind required to get the latest achievement.
Again, I admit the the achievements for Destropolis were bad, sorry for that.
I promise that I'll give more thought to the achievement in the sequel :)
Thanks!
