This quality-of-life update addresses various bugs, compatibility, and performance issues (many reported by you, thank you!).
v2.10 CHANGES | 2024/11/14
- New Audio Engine (Windows)
- Replaced DirectSound with XAudio2 for improved performance and compatibility.
- DirectX Renderer (Windows)
- Fixed re-initialization errors that could occur when switching modes.
- Leaderboards
- If leaderboards appear to be unavailable (ie. if you're offline), the game will no longer continuously attempt to read them. This should improve performance when playing offline.
- Button Icons
- Although the game auto-detects most popular game controllers, you can now manually choose a specific button icon style (PlayStation or Xbox style icons) from the menu.
- More Controller Support
- PS5 controllers are now automatically detected and no longer need to be calibrated.
- Added support for more game controllers on macOS and Linux.

- Overscan Mode
- The overscan setting is now saved to settings, so you no longer need to set it each time you launch the game.
- Apple M1+ Support (macOS)
- Now built for Apple Silicon (as well as Intel).
- Fixed an issue where the game could run too fast on newer machines.
- Fixed an issue where audio may not work correctly on newer machines.
- Now built for Apple Silicon (as well as Intel).
- Steamworks Upgraded
- Upgraded the Steam versions to the latest Steamworks SDK
- Misc. Bug Fixes
- Most importantly, it fixes an issue caused by collecting weapon truck keys during some missions expecting a different key.
