Update 0.8 is currently in the final internal testing phase, and the release is scheduled for THIS month!
Here’s what’s waiting for you in the 0.8 update:
📝 The New Character Sheets!
The character and monster sheets have received major upgrades in version 0.8!
Now, you can roll your attacks, actions, and spells with just one click—including monster actions!
Here’s how it works:
- Select your action and press "Use." The roll-to-hit is automatically calculated for you.
- After the to-hit roll, the result window lets you roll damage directly. And yes, critical hits are automatically doubled & the results are posted in the chat for your party members!
We've also improved ALL 5e monster sheets that are included in DFD to work with the new improved system! At the same time, we’re continuing to enhance DFD’s automation features, and we plan to add more functionality to the character and monster sheets (e.g., automatic saving throw calculations and damage application). These features are not part of the 0.8 update yet, but we’d love to hear your feedback!
🧝 The New Beginner’s Story!
We’re thrilled to announce that the DFD onboarding experience will be fully voice-acted!
This unique onboarding process introduces new players to the game and helps them learn the ropes.
We’ve also hidden some easter eggs in the onboarding experience. Can you find them all?
