“IMO, the pinnacle of RTS gaming. That's probably mostly the 40k mythos though. Love the game.”

“For me if you say RTS you mean DoW. Its the oldest game i have. And i still play it on atleast monthly basis. I must say i have downloaded the unification mod and this gives its much more content for you to enjoy. Even…”
“I have played this game for not too long but i love it, the base building and strategy is great but i would highly recommend you to get the ultimate apocalypse mod because it adds a lot more content and new factions to…”
“Despite being over 18 years old, this is still of the best Warhammer 40k RTS's. There is a wide variety in the available factions, the gamplay is interesting, and the campaign is incredible fun.”

“Very well made for such an old game runs on low ram computer and very moddable.”
“8/10 good to play several times. Warhammer: Dark Crusade is more immersive and less glitchy. Save after every turn here, and just before winning an enemy base. It may crash after cutscenes. Just reload and proceed.”

“Great RTS slightly ruined by the rubbish path finding and terrible single player skirmish AI (which sadly seems to be used again and again in Relic games - Dawn of War's excuse is at least it was the first). The path…”

“Amazing game, lots of play time and modding for this is still ongoing. Only problem for base game if you play on high visuals settings you will crash after all beating strongholds, fix is to save right before you win,…”
“It's fun. Need to patch the crashing part in the campaign though.”

“Greatest Game Ever, I'm kicking my orks as I write this and I can just say this game puts every AAA game to shame. Story: 10/10 didn't even need to play it, gameplay: 10/10 most fun I've ever had with friends,…”
“I haven't tried the definitive edition yet, but as an RTS fan, this game is just chef's kiss, the entire first Dawn of War until Soulstorm captured the grimdark of 40k into an RTS setting very nicely. I'm no expert on…”

“Classic game. Don't like how they represented Sisters though as they're one of my favorite factions in 40k with Drukhari, Tau, and Guard but the writers kind of did the Sisters dirty.”

“If you are looking for a good story, then it may disappoint you but the voice over is pretty good. The computer AI I think still needs refinement. Overall i think it is still a good game”
