“It's tricky to recommend this game. It's painfully slow, and hard. The moment-to-moment gameplay is, truth be told, pretty mind-numbing. It's intentionally esoteric and obtuse-- which the game usually plays as a strength, but this also makes your early hours feel directionless…”

“It's a roguelike game that encourages exploration and then punishes you harshly for it. You can lose 20 hours of gameplay on a Captain on one bad roll. And then you get to start it all over again, from zero. And oh god does it hurt to start from zero. You'll be back to running…”
