“Orcs Must Die! 2 is a genuinely great tower defense game that takes everything good about the first game and cranks it up — more traps, more maps, two playable characters, and co-op that makes the chaos feel electric.…”

“Been coming back to it for years. Still holds up and is wildly entertaining.”
“Orcs Must Die! 2 is a great game. I do prefer some design choices made in the original. The first OMD! felt a bit darker and more menacing. I particularly dislike the introduction of the light orc warrior. In all other…”

“Apparently this Crash Monster can't keep up with new tech in 2026. Expect 2 hrs max playtime before CTD. No manual or incremental saves, so progress is effectively cooked when it happens. FWIW - Win11 Pro / RTX 4070…”
“Loved 1. Sadly, no matter what I do, resoluton wont go past 720p and I play on aa 4k 32" monitor so its unplayable for me on a tiny screen portion. Cannot recommend.”
“Crashes more than a demolition derby, which makes achievements like 50 waves almost impossible.”

“Please do not buy this game. Buying this game encourages this company's behavior. This game has game-breaking crashes. There are discussion posts about this going back YEARS. I myself have tried a WIN7 compatibility…”

“Absolutely fun game, but absolute balls when it comes to crashes and disconnect. For a 10 year old game, it holds up, but for other aspect prepare your balls. Also if you're using Windows 11, prepare endless crashes. As of right now there are no community patches for this.”
— a player, Steam review · 68 hrs played“if you like tower defense, fighting with yo traps and friends, holy recommended especially the singleplayer its amazing, but hard and requires some management between when to place, what to place, its so good i just kept playing for 3 hours on one go, no lag with my specs”
— a player, Steam review · 5 hrs played“i love orcs must die 2 as much as i enjoyed orcs must die 1 OMD 1 had some issues with animations but for me haven't crashed but sadly due to OMD 2 being old, the game doesn't work well on newer systems and tends to crash when you finish beating a stage 6/10 truly a fun game…”
