“If you're into classic Resident Evil, get this. It's like a combination of the original RE1, 2, and 3 in terms of mechanics. Resource management is well balanced. The horror of the setting comes from the muddy hell of…”

“Conscript is a perfect example of a game that knows what it is and does everything it can to be exactly that: A survival horror game set during WWI. Mechanically, it's nearly identical to the early RE games and I mean…”

“OVERALL: 3/5 It’s entirely possible I’m just not into Resident Evil-style gameplay, so if that’s your thing you may enjoy this. but Conscript doesn’t convey the idea of “war is hell” as much as it does “war is very…”

“I love the pixel art, and I’m a big fan of World War I and World War II settings. However, the game started to feel boring halfway through the first chapter, and by the second chapter I was basically done. I like the…”

“9 hours in. The gameplay loop is fun enough -- for a while. I don't dislike it at this point, but I don't like it enough to come back and spend more time. Sort of a "I see what it has to offer at this point and it's just not enough for me" situation. It's a solid effort.”
