What Is Leagues?

[p align="start"]Leagues is RuneScape's limited time game mode where everyone starts fresh on a brand new save and progresses at a ludicrously accelerated speeds.

[p align="start"]As you complete Tasks, unlock powerful Relics, and explore new opportunities, you will work toward exclusive rewards while creating your own unique build and playstyle. And with our Account Nomination feature you're able to play on one account but choose for the ultimate rewards you earn to go to your main account (or whichever account you choose).

[p align="start"]This League, titled EQUILIBRIUM, is inspired by Guthix, the God of Balance. As his influence spreads across Gielinor, your choices will shape the powers you wield and the path you follow.

[p align="start"]When the league begins, you'll create a dedicated league character and enter special league worlds. This character exists separately from your main adventure and is included with your existing membership, meaning you can jump straight into the action without affecting your primary account.

[p align="start"]Throughout the league, you'll complete unique challenges known as Tasks, earning League Points and unlocking powerful Relics and Blessings that fundamentally reshape your experience in Gielinor. Reach new heights at lightning speed with supercharge XP rates, as every unlock empowers your journey with new possibilities, powerful combinations, and exciting ways to forge your own path.

[p align="start"]This time around, your journey is defined by the choices you make. Every region you unlock, every Relic you choose, every Task you pursue, and every Blessing you claim shapes a unique path through Gielinor. Those decisions unlock different bosses to conquer, new skilling opportunities to master, and rewards to chase, ensuring no two adventures are quite the same.

[p align="start"]But with great choice comes tough decisions. You won't be able to unlock everything, so every selection carries real weight. Whether you're chasing incredible power, efficient progression, or a completely unique playstyle, we're making sure every Region, Relic, and Blessing feels impactful, rewarding, and worthwhile in its own right. The challenge isn't just deciding what to take, it's deciding what to leave behind.

Brand New Free-to-Play Access

[p align="start"]For the first time ever, Leagues can be experienced in limited fashion through Free-to-Play! Giving more players the chance to join in on the fun without needing Membership to get started.

[p align="start"]Dedicated Free-to-Play League Worlds provide access to the first three tiers of Relics giving you the core league experience, allowing adventurers to complete tasks, earn league rewards, and progress through the early stages of the season from day one.

[p align="start"]Free-to-Play players can unlock up to three tiers of Relics, explore all the available Free-to-Play regions, and experience the key progression systems that make leagues so rewarding. When you're ready to take your adventure further, upgrading to Membership offers a seamless transition into the full league experience, with access to additional regions, more Relic tiers, and even greater challenges and rewards.

A Significantly Different RuneScape

[p align="start"]Over the past eight months, RuneScape has undergone a significant transformation both through our content roadmap and the Road to Restoration, which aims to return integrity to the heart of RuneScape. Leagues II: EQUILIBRIUM is a fantastic opportunity for anyone to jump in and see how these changes have improved the overall game.

[p align="start"]If your last outing into RuneScape was with last year's Leagues: CATALYST (or even earlier), here're just some of the changes you can look forward to:

Completely overhauled Player-Owned House and Construction skill.
Reworked Daemonheim Dungeoneering.
A new continent to explore in the form of Havenhythe.
Greatly modernised and streamlined combat, thanks to our Combat Style Modernisation update.
A refreshed Player Avatar.
A simplified UI by default (the customizable UI can still be enabled via your settings).
Remastered environments, especially in Misthalin.
A streamlining of time restricted gameplay with our changes to DailyScape and Auras.
Various balancing and QOL improvements which will ease your journey through the early and mid-game.

Region Unlocking

[p align="start"]One of the biggest twists in Leagues II: EQUILIBRIUM is the introduction of a region-based progression system commonly referred to as "Region Locking".

[p align="start"]You begin your adventure in the Misthalin region, with access to the Havenhythe region, but the rest of the wider world remains locked. You can then expand beyond these starting regions by completing task milestones. Karamja will be unlocked when you complete your first milestone, granting you access to three regions almost from the get go.

[p align="start"]From there, you will be able to unlock an additional three more regions...

Asgarnia - With its access to places like the God Wars Dungeon or the City of Falador.
Kandarin - Full of skilling spaces like the Player Owned Farm, Hall of Memories and Deep Sea Fishing Hubs.
Fremennik Province - Including all of its Islands, such as Neitiznot, Lunar Isles & Jatizso.
Forinthry (Wilderness) - Chock full of dangerous Slayer enemies, Fort Forinthry & Daemonheim.
Desert - Brimming with areas like Menaphos and Het's Oasis.
Morytania - Offers a wide variety of content from bosses like Araxxor, or the skilling benefits of the Everlight Digsite.
Tirannwn - The elven lands are full of potential benefits, from the City of Prifddinas to access to the Lost Grove.
Anachronia - Full of big dinosaurs! Hunt em, fight em, farm em!

[p align="start"]You'll have to carefully decide which of these areas to unlock as you won't be able to unlock every region. Do you focus on getting access to as many bosses as possible? Do you have a build in mind that wants access to a specific training method or piece of gear? Or do you just really like hanging out in the Crafting Guild?

[p align="start"]Your reasons are your own and they will shape your journey through Gielinor this league. No matter what path you take, you'll be able to obtain the Dragon trophy and have enough points for all this years' rewards!

Auto-Completed Quests

[p align="start"]Another core improvement to Leagues II that we're introducing to this league is that you won't need to spend your time working through long quest chains just to access the content you want to play.

[p align="start"]Each region comes with a large number of quests automatically completed, giving you immediate access to many of its key features, activities, and rewards from the moment you unlock it.

[p align="start"]That means less time grinding to meet requirements and more time adventuring. Choose Tirannwn and you'll be able to head straight to Prifddinas. Select the Desert, and Menaphos will be within easy reach almost immediately.

[p align="start"]While some parts of the wider world will remain beyond your grasp, your chosen regions are designed to be fully accessible, letting you dive directly into the content that matters most to your league journey.

Even Faster Progression

[p align="start"]Tasks are the key to progressing through a league season. Completing Tasks earns you League Points, which determine your League Trophy and unlock increasingly powerful Relics to help you earn even more points.

[p align="start"]Tasks are divided into tiers ranging from Easy to Master, offering everything from quick wins worth 10 points to major achievements that reward up to 400 points. Whether you enjoy skilling, hunting rare drops, tackling bosses or taking part in minigames, there are challenges designed to suit every playstyle and encourage exploration across all of Gielinor.

[p align="start"]This season's tasks have been designed to deliver a smoother and more rewarding experience, with better-balanced objectives, meaningful progression milestones, and more opportunities to engage with recent RuneScape content.

[p align="start"]Many of the barriers that previously slowed you down, such as lengthy reputation grinds and complex quest requirements, have been reduced or automatically unlocked.

[p align="start"]The result is a league where you can spend less time overcoming unnecessary obstacles and more time tackling the content you enjoy, earning points, and progressing towards ever-greater rewards.

Path to Progress

[p align="start"]In addition to region unlocking, this league will contain two other distinct progression systems:

Relics, which return from last year's Leagues (Catalyst).
Blessings, a new combat focused progression system.

Brand-New Relics

[p align="start"]This season, we've taken a fresh look at Relics with a particular focus on balance. Our goal was to ensure that every choice feels compelling, reducing clear "best-in-slot" options and creating more meaningful decisions throughout your journey. The result is a Relic system where your choices are driven more by your playstyle and goals rather than by obvious power picks.

[p align="start"]With that in mind, let's take a look at how you'll unlock these powerful Relics...!

[p align="start"]By earning League Points, you'll progress through seven Relic tiers, each packed with new bonuses and game-changing choices. From skilling and resource gathering to teleportation and combat, Relics enhance your experience around your preferred playstyle. Every choice helps shape your journey, creating new opportunities and strategies as you progress through the league.

[p align="start"]As you unlock higher tiers, the Relics become increasingly impactful, opening up new ways to tackle challenges and optimise your build. Your setup will feel unique, reflecting the goals you've pursued and the path you've taken through the season. With every tier comes another meaningful decision: strengthen your existing advantages or unlock entirely new possibilities.

[p align="start"]Every Relic choice shapes your league journey, allowing you to build a playstyle that feels uniquely yours and tackle the season in the way that suits you best.

[p align="start"]A new Relic isn't the only reward waiting at each tier.

[p align="start"]This season's passive bonuses have been significantly enhanced, helping you dive into the fun faster than ever before. Enjoy massive XP boosts, improved rare drop rates, unlimited run energy, passive Skillcape perks, free Invention materials from combat, and much more as you climb the tiers and power up your journey through the league.

New Blessings System

[p align="start"]New this season, Blessings introduce a dedicated combat progression system that grows alongside your league journey. While Relics offer a mix of combat, utility, and gameplay-enhancing effects, Blessings focus exclusively on combat power.

[p align="start"]They are unlocked by completing Blessing Tasks within your chosen regions, challenging you to overcome increasingly difficult combat challenges as you progress through the tiers.

[p align="start"]As you earn Blessings, you'll unlock powerful upgrades that enhance your effectiveness in battle while supporting a variety of playstyles without locking you into a specific combat style.

[p align="start"]As you progress through eight Blessing tiers, you'll have a number of opportunities to choose between three paths themed around Order, Chaos, and Balance, allowing you to shape your combat strengths as your build evolves.

[p align="start"]At Tiers 4 and 8, you'll unlock a special God Tier Blessing. These upgrades offer some of the most powerful combat effects available in the league and are determined by the choices you make in the preceding Blessing tiers. Rather than selecting them directly, your God Tier Blessings are influenced by the path you've followed:

Choose two or more Blessings of Chaos, and you'll unlock the Chaos God Blessing.
Choose two or more Blessing of Balance, or one Blessing from each path, and you'll unlock the Balance God Blessing.
Choose two or more Blessings of Order, and you'll unlock the Order God Blessing.

[p align="start"]This system adds another layer of strategic decision-making to your league journey. Every Blessing choice contributes towards your eventual God Tier Blessings, making each decision meaningful as you shape a combat style that suits your preferred way to play.

[p align="start"]However, your path isn't set in stone. You'll be able to reset your Blessing progression up to three times throughout the League, giving you the freedom to experiment with different builds, explore new strategies, and pursue a different God Tier Blessing if your plans change.

[p align="start"]One reset is available from Tier 1, with two more unlocked as you progress through the Blessing tiers.

[p align="start"]In addition to the choices they offer, each Blessing tier grants a range of powerful passive combat benefits. As you progress, you'll unlock perks that improve mobility, reduce ammunition/rune usage, boost your combat performance by improving accuracy and enhancing adrenaline or remove traditional costs and restrictions associated with PvM like equipment degradation.

[p align="start"]With eight tiers to unlock, Blessings provide a substantial source of power growth throughout the League, helping you take on Gielinor's toughest encounters with greater efficiency and confidence.

Tier 1 Relics Revealed

Following community feedback from last year, the Tier 1 Relics have been designed to feel more impactful from the very beginning and throughout the entire league.

Survivalist

[p align="start"]Aimed at the gatherer who like to get hands on, this Relic is all about maximising resource collection.

[p align="start"]It doubles resources gained from Mining, Fishing, Woodcutting, and Archaeology excavation hotspots, helping you stockpile materials faster than ever before.

[p align="start"]To support your adventures, it also grants powerful gathering tools for Mining, Woodcutting, and Fishing, making resource collection even more efficient. On top of that, you'll unlock the Survivalist's Bag, an enhanced storage container capable of holding up to 150 of three different types of logs, ores, or fish at once.

[p align="start"]Whether you're training skills, preparing supplies, or building up your bank, this Relic ensures you'll never be short on resources.

Endless Harvest

[p align="start"]This Relic is built for players who want a smoother, more laid back gathering experience.

[p align="start"]Resources collected through Archaeology, Farming, Fishing, Mining, and Woodcutting can be sent directly to your bank or metal bank, keeping your inventory clear and letting you stay gathering. On top of that, Fishing, Mining, and Woodcutting each have a 10% chance to upgrade resources to the next tier, helping you gather higher-level materials as you train.

[p align="start"]It also removes many of the interruptions that slow down gathering. Trees are rarely felled, fishing spots can be followed automatically when they move, and your character will resume gathering as soon as a tree regrows. Miners benefit from permanently full stamina, while Archaeologists gain the benefits of an always-active Time Sprite, ensuring consistent progress at excavation hotspots.

[p align="start"]Combined, these effects create a highly streamlined gathering experience that maximises uptime and keeps resources flowing.

Golden Touch

[p align="start"]This Relic is the perfect choice for players looking to master Agility and Thieving, turning both skills into powerful sources of experience, resources, and wealth.

[p align="start"]It grants the Goldenhawk Boots, a pair of T60 Hybrid style boots which passively award Agility XP while you're on the move, skilling, or using ultimate abilities. As you train Agility and Thieving, you'll also have a chance to obtain Goldenhawk Feathers, valuable items that can be converted into Prayer XP or alchemised for a sizable coin reward.

[p align="start"]This Relic also dramatically speeds up progression by doubling Agility course XP, preventing all course and shortcut failures, and rewarding coins for every completed lap based on your Agility level. Thieves receive guaranteed success on all pickpocketing attempts, tripled loot, and all rewards automatically noted. Stalls never deplete, safes can be opened without cooldowns, and repeated thieving actions continue automatically, allowing for uninterrupted training.

[p align="start"]Additionally all coins obtained through Thieving are increased by 100x multiplier, while chests and safes can reward additional bundles of herbs and potion ingredients sent directly to your bank.

[p align="start"]Making this Relic a powerful combination of training efficiency, passive rewards, and profit generation.

[p align="start"]There are no wrong choices though. Each Relic supports a different playstyle and serves as the first of many build-defining decisions throughout the League. Where do we start?
