Regarding the offline mode and recent connectivity issues
Read the original on Steam ↗There have been several heated discussions on forums over the couse of the past few months calling for a soon release of an offline mode application. To comment on this, we would like to say that the state of the game now is as indicated on the store - Alpha.
The original though was that the game would be available on all kind of devices (in various versions), and not all of them (e. g. tablets or smartphones) could bear the complexity of simulation or some other aspects of gameplay (e. g. compilation). It was a design choice made early in the development process and is not revertable without rewriting the whole application again (the version on greenlight (now taken down) was for offline mode). We are extensively thinking about it for the official release, but it is not doable in the coming months.
I'm sure that you'll now understand what resulted into game being in the state as it is now. It does not make us happy nor comfortable, but we stick to the decision made earlier, work on improving the game and see the future brighter.
If you are thinking about buying the game, please, take the above-mentioned into consideration.
