Hi all! Today is an exciting day for me because I am releasing Desktop Pals 5.0! This is the largest update which has been released yet, and it is not even close. There are tons of new changes and features, but let's look at them one by one.
After trying out different styles, I have finished the UI rework! Let's be honest; the old UI was terrible. This new UI is more stylish, toony, and even more responsive! Check it out; I am sure you will love it!
Six new pals are here! Say hello to Sven, Chomper, Dumbo, Loki, Snowy and Blaze! These Pals are placed in a new category called "TOONY". They are all extremely cute, and they fit the new UI style well.
Pals can now walk around your screen! If enabled, the pal may choose to take a stroll to the left and then return to his original placement. This feature was widely requested, so I am happy to bring it to you.
Along with some minor technical tweaks which I will not bother you with, these changes bring Desktop Pals into a new era. Out with the old, hacky UI, and in with the new features. As always, I am open to any feedback or questions on our Discord. I hope you enjoy this new update!
