With that said I would like to address a few important things regarding the game.
Price
- ROSE will be free, the full game, playable from start to finish, will be totally free. No in game purchases or stuff like that. BUT there will be an optional paid DLC accompanying the game, however this DLC will not add any new mechanics or content that would be changing the gameplay in any way. This DLC will serve as a sort of optional donation you can make to support my future projects, but it will be completely optional! I just felt that I needed to address this to prevent any future misunderstandings.
The State of the game
- If you have played a demo of ROSE about a year ago or followed some of my older dev logs you might notice that in the final game there are fewer weapons and that some features have been cut. I have talked about this in more detail in the demo announcement post, but TL;DR: to finish the game I had to cut content, hope you understand.
- Regarding the demo, it will go offline when the game launches (the demo in its current state is basically just 3/4 of the full game anyway, and it would be pointless to keep it up since the game will be also free)
But if you would like to check it out and give me some final feedback before launch, now is your chance as the demo is part of the Czech & Slovak Games Week (Or you can go check out other games made by people from my country :D).
