Today brings a minor update with a big feature, writable signs! You can unlock them in the tech tree under decorations. After you place a sign you can edit the message and text color. They can be copied and moved like other buildings and also included in blueprints!
There is a technical limit of 100 per world which I hope is enough, if not let me know in the comments.
