To show our appreciation, here’s a new update that will make wolf gameplay easier, along with a new item and some balancing adjustments.
Now that players are getting better at the game, wolves are finding it increasingly difficult to win matches. Due to the wolf music, villagers know a wolf has transformed even when they’re not in danger, making it really tough for the wolves. I’ve decided to make the following changes to the wolf music, which should help wolves kill more easily and appear innocent during debates.
- Removed the variation in music volume based on the distance from the wolf.
- The music takes 0.5 seconds to start when the wolf is within range.
- The music takes 2 seconds to fade out when the wolf is no longer within range.
- Reduced the trigger range of the wolf’s music.
- The trigger range of the wolf’s music is greatly reduced when the wolf is crouching.
New item
- Smoke Bomb: Creates a large smoke cloud in place for 20 seconds.
Balancing
- Wolf trap quantity: Infinite -> 1.
- Lock health: 100 -> 80.
- The wolf’s hunger bar decreases more slowly when crouching.
- Reduced potion spawn rate.
