It has been over 7 years since we released Welcome to Hanwell, and to celebrate the launch of it's sequel, Beyond Hanwell, Welcome to Hanwell is being made free to everyone, forever.

This decision has been made to remove any barrier to anybody that wants to explore the Hanwell universe more deeply, Beyond Hanwell is a standalone game, and does not require you to play Welcome to Hanwell, but there are many references and lots of lore that can be expanded by playing the first game before (or after) diving into Beyond Hanwell.

To all who paid and supported us by paying for and playing Welcome to Hanwell, I cannot thank you enough, without you Beyond Hanwell would not exist, and I'm currently in talks with Valve to figure out exactly how you can be rewarded for being there before this moment. Keep an eye on our announcement feed for more on this later.

Welcome to Hanwell should switch from paid to free sometime today, if not today then tomorrow, depending on how quickly valve action my request.
