Hey, Tea Makers,
We've got a bunch of QoL updates coming your way! Lots of small tweaks and changes have been made to make everything work a bit smoother. We've also added some polish on things like UI and optimizations for meshes.

As a reminder, if you are experiencing a bug, you can report it in-game by either pressing the F2 key or the drop-down button in the top right corner of the screen. Our Discord also has a bug channel for more in-depth one-on-one support! In particular, if there is a bug that you’ve already reported a while back but is still happening, there is a chance that this is a bug that we’ve had difficulty reproducing. If you’re able to hop into our Discord to help us track down and squash these pesky recurring bugs, we’d love to have you!

🐞Bugs
- Fixed bug where presenting tea on a saucer to customers left the saucer floating mid-air
- Drink name is properly displayed on the back of the order card
- Brewing perfect chamomile tea is now possible (“perfect“ tea requirements now have acceptable margins for time and temperature)
- Fixed guests sometimes floating at bed&breakfast
- Fixed a few boba syrups being free
- Fixed a few environment interactables in mayors office showing an [[ERROR]] popup
- Fixed environment item descriptions in teahouses being read by last-talked-to-cat, are shown as internal narration now
- Fixed ingredients hovering over cup if removed via the info bubble menu while the cup is empty
- Fixed item count being shown behind items in inventory
- Adjusted guest respawning logic and stopped time while taking orders in the hopes of fixing the Dine & Dash bug
- Fixed kettle steam being visible on the finished drink screen
- Fixed bug preventing “Clear Dust“ task from being completed. The task will also complete retroactively when you load your save.
- Made lighting in shops and inventory consistent with ingredient selection
- Made it harder for ingredients to clip and fall out of the cup
- Fixed boba syrup pumps overfilling cups
- Fixed boba syrup pumps ignoring cup lid
- Fixed container capacity disappearing from info-bubble after showing a text popup
- Fixed resident requesting tea not being clickable after completing an order
- Fixed teaset being invisible on teaware selection screen when accepting an order with a specific recipe
- Fixed materials causing noise around some objects
- Fixed planter animating wrong plant when clicked in Bed'n'Breakfast
- Removed floating eggs (flowers) in town
- Fixed water/ice dispenser breaking after clearing table and switching ingredients
- Fixed Sae getting stuck while talking
🌻Quality of Life
- Clicking on tea notification above a house (in lot view) enters the building
- Added an example for custom pronouns, expanded character-limits to fit most of them
- Esc while in-game opens journal instead of pop-up window
- 3 second wait time and a second confirmation step to delete a save file
- Quit and Quit to Menu replaced with Save & Quit and Save & Quit to Menu. Made quitting without saving impossible to do on accident
- Kettle boiling and whistling sounds stop when presenting tea to guests
Changes
- Changed behavior of info-bubble which appears above containers and ingredients on right-click (can be hidden manually, doesn’t disappear while being hovered over, remove-ingredient buttons look how intended)
- Icons for tea points and beans on order cards
- Lot rotation arrows (on side of screen to orbit camera around location) are now arrows
- Steep time on the drink info-bubble is of a consistent length
- Removed quitting to main menu from main menu
- Add a a small animation to Date & Time panel when it locks/unlocks, hide it when making tea
Unity analytics is a checkbox
- Hid the sliding window at personal tea station in level 1 house so it’s not covering Mjorns face
- Changed how shadows in players house look
- Changed how some materials look
- Container info bubble now stays up-to date while open
Improvements
- Cursors change shape when hovered over cats you can talk to, ingredients, kettle heater, when carrying ingredients, presenting tea to cats, when cups/containers are too full for what you are trying to add
- Right-clicking a tea container now also shows recommended brew time & steep temperature
UI
🔍Under Investigation
- Dine & Dash. If a customer disappears without paying or drinking their tea in your teashop. Please let us know if it happens and report the bug with F2
- Choosing your Resident Name triggers the profanity filter. The "names of popular characters" should no longer be in the blacklist!
