Today, as we come close to our anniversary date, we decided to do something a bit different and host our own game jam for your fan games! 😄
Welcome to... Will You Jam? !
You have until Thursday, March 21, 2024 9:30 AM CST / 4:30 PM CET to make a cool, fun, WYS themed game!
Join our game jam on itch here!
Using your creativity and imagination, as well as (some of) the game's assets (that you will find in #will-you-jam on our Discord server ), create a WYS themed game, and share it with the community!
If you have any questions or need any help, feel free to ask the other community members in #will-you-jam, of course!

Rules 📜
- You can work alone or in a team of any size;
- Recycling code and assets is allowed. No need to write everything from scratch.
- You can use everything you're legally allowed to use. Give appropriate credits where required. Don't use any resources you don't have the rights to!!!
- You have until Thursday, March 21, 2024 9:30 AM CST / 4:30 PM CET to create a game themed around WYS. Whether it be a fan game or something more unique, if it’s WYS related it works.
- Please warn players about mature or disturbing content in your game (if there is any).
- The game you submit has to be created during this jam.
Vote on itch.io! Your reactions will help with the final judging. You can also talk about the submissions in #will-you-jam.
Judging 🔍
Submissions will be judged by Jonas, the Community Management team, and the Discord Mods. The levels will be critiqued on the following:
- Originality and creativity;
- Votes on itch.io (which will be a strong factor in the judging process);
After the voting period is over, we'll pick the winners ourselves. 😎
Prizes🏆
- The Trophy Snail role on Discord
- Get Jonas to try out your game on a Jonas Bonus video
- One WYS Steam key AND one Thronefall Steam key

On another note, I did say at the start of this post that we were getting close to our anniversary date. Indeed; almost 2 years ago, Will You Snail? was released. I know, crazy, right? 😱 👀
We'd like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts, again and always, for your continued support, passion and dedication. Our little Shelly's story in Squid's simulations seems to have resonated with a lot of you, and we're very grateful for that. Thank you 🤗 ❤️
