I'm writing an announcement to let you know that the Steam store page for my upcoming yaoi visual novel, All Scars and Starlight, is now live!
It's a grim little story about a deposed king being imprisoned by, and falling for, his captor (who just so happens to be his cousin). There are choices and multiple endings, plus a bunch of political drama and Suffering.
Scars is an r18 VN, so there are several uncensored sex scenes. The story also deals with discomforting topics like suicide and sexual assault, though all of the sex scenes depicted in this story are consensual.

Scars is a spin-off of my dark BxG VN, All Ashes and Illusions, which features the same characters but ends rather differently. You can read Scars without reading Ashes, but reading Ashes will probably make Scars a better experience.

The characters from Scars, Yuel and Tavi, also appear in a few of my other BL VNs, All Idleness and Ephemera, Unluckily in Love, and To Have and to Hold. I'm pretty fond of writing about Yuel and Tavi (as if that was not immediately obvious lmao), so if you want to read about them in other, slightly happier scenarios, you have a lot of options! To Have and to Hold is also free, if that's of any interest.
