Maria Gwozdek turns one! What’s next? — The Missing Parts of Maria Gwozdek News

It’s been exactly a year since "The Missing Parts of Maria Gwozdek" released on Steam, and over 5,000 people have played it since then. As you might guess, Maria herself is not a huge fan of birthdays, but this occasion feels meaningful to me and I want to use it to thank everyone who has played the game. I am grateful beyond words to all the people who have reviewed the game on Steam, streamed it, and/or shared it on social media or elsewhere.

I also wanted to let you know about what the future holds. I don’t currently plan to add more endings or updates: the branching story feels complete to me as it is. I would like, eventually, to create a different story set in the same universe. This new story would explore what other fairies exist out there and what kind of things they get up to. I’ll keep everyone posted when I have more to share on that project.

A few of you have asked about localization. I am open to localizing “The Missing Parts of Maria Gwozdek” into other languages. That said, I don't have the capacity (linguistically and physically) to do this alone.
