Here is what's new and fixed in this Update:
Key Bindings
You can now rebind almost all game controls to any preferred keys.
Unity Upgrade
We have upgraded our engine version from Unity 2021 to Unity 2022. Along with many bug fixes to the engine, Unity 2022 brings a slightly better lighting engine, making scenes brighter and crispier looking.
Optimization
We have optimized bots to consume less processing power allowing for higher FPS, along with other small fixes. Needless to say, we are dedicated to increase FPS even more in further patches, especially for our beloved Mac users.
Gameplay and UI
- Frag and Flash grenades: decreased explosion time from 3 to 2 seconds.
- M73: Increased vertical recoil and decreased Large Magazine ammo capacity from 16 to 7.
- Settings: added option to invert Y mouse look.
- HUD: you can now see how much experience you get per kill above kill notifications.
- Levelling: reduced the amount of experience per kill from 100 to 20. According to the feedback from our players, they could reach MAX level in about 5 hours of gameplay.
- BOTS: added the '[AI]' prefix in front of bot names.
- Gun Game: removed lasers and flashlights from random attachments pool to improve performance in this mode.
- Small improvements to various UI elements throughout the game.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue when respawn UI disappears if a user enables text chat, making respawning unavailable.
- Fixed lasers clipping through walls.
- Fixed larger-than-mesh colliders on trees on Stronghold map.
- Other smaller bug fixes that we forgot to write down :(
Moving Forward
In the near future, our top priorities will be:
- Improve optimization across the board for all platforms.
- Eliminate game crashes happening when you try to join a server.
- Sometimes, player's level is being reset due to encoding/decoding issue of save files via Steam Cloud. We apologize to players who lost all of their progress due to this bug, we are currently talking with Steam Support to resolve it.
