Read the original on Steam ↗After a lot of playtesting, we are pleased to announce Divided Reigns works perfectly with the Steam Deck... as long as you use Proton 7.0-6. Here is how to enable it on Steam Deck:
On the game screen, select the gear icon on the right.
Next go to Properties.
Go down to Compatibility, turn on "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" and select Proton 7.0-6.
That's it!
I know this isn't ideal, but the issue seems to be with Proton compatibility and nw.js (basically the way the game is run), which is completely out of our hands. Hopefully they put out a new update for both so they behave together.
