Organized entirely by the fan community, the Creatures Community Spirit Festival (or CCSF) is an online event held once a year to celebrate Creatures-related fan creations of all kinds.

It all started in 2004, just over a year after the closing of the series' development studio, Creature Labs.

Despite the last big game release being in 2001 (with Docking Station), the series continued to be enjoyed by the fan community who have kept the spirit alive through continued efforts. Over the years, there have been numerous fan-created breeds, agents, metarooms and other mods - all released for free to be enjoyed by other fans.

This year's CCSF (the 20th iteration) is still going for a few more days.
