Midair No Longer In Development | Sequel in Closed Beta — Midair News

To Midair Fans,

This title - the original Midair developed by Archetype Studios - is not in active development and does not support online multiplayer play. However, you can still download and enjoy flying and skiing on your favorite maps from the game's release back in 2018.

It is wonderful to see new players finding this unique gameplay every day - so long after release.

We are keeping the store page up for those who are new to this type of gameplay, and those who wish to relive their enjoyment of the game in single-player practice mode.

Important: There are currently no online servers available for Midair, and you will not be able to play with others!

A different studio called Vector Z is working on a spiritual successor, and invites you to check it out if you'd like to follow the the development of the sequel.

Midair 2 is currently in Closed Beta and hosting playtests for interested fans.

What is different in Midair 2?
we've done a complete visual overhaul, added features like chaingun overheat, dynamic out-ot-bounds grid, in-game demo library, a new UI, a new League mode, new cosmetics, we've taken out progression, and recently added matchmaking!

Midair 2 is a jetpack shooter focusing on competitive gameplay in 5v5 to 7v7 Capture the Flag, as well as other unique game modes. It is the new home for everyone looking to take their jetpacks off the shelf and come back to the slopes!
