Here is the list of changes. They should fix several reasons why the game isn't launching on some machines.
- Changes to Open GL 2.1 initialization for people getting Open GL related error messages.
- Changes to Steam API initialization, so no one should have to disable the 'Steam Overlay' feature in order to launch the game.
