Duet beta 2023 — Duet News

I've recently added a new beta build of Duet that has some changes to fix the stuttering on Windows 10/11 and some other changes. This is not a free beta, you can only access it if you have already purchased Duet on Steam.

Accessing the Beta

Navigate to Duet in your Steam library.
Right-click or Control-click Duet and select Properties.
Navigate to the BETAS tab.
Select beta - Public Beta from the drop down.
Install Duet.

Bugs and Feedback

Please post any bugs or feedback from the beta to the thread in the forums.

Changes

General changes
- continuance mode now available (no leaderboards or achievements yet)
- Added new accessability option in the "video" section: "epilogue: no wrapping".
Windows
- Now using ANGLE to render using DIrectX to avoid OpenGL bugs and stuttering.
MacOS
- Build is now 64-bit and signed. Should work on the latest version of macOS.
- Now using ANGLE to render using Metal.
- Known Issue - the game may ask for "Input Monitoring" permissions to play.
Linux/SteamOS/Steam Deck
- no major changes
