Leafling's Fresh Start — Leafling News

Leafling has been online for almost 2 entire years now! This is beyond anything I ever honestly imagine when I started working on it, it was supposed to just be a really fun hobby where maybe I could make a couple friends and play a fun game together. Now the project, community, and team size has expanded, we have reached over 1 million people on Steam, had 100,000 people register for Leafling, and even been invited to various Indie Game Events. This has all been because of you all, and your love for Leafling and the world we've created together.

Today we would like to announce a Leafling "Fresh Start" Server, a brand new fresh server with no account data. This would be the best time ever to try out Leafling if you are an old-time player and have been gone, or are looking to try it out for the first time!

This is a very big announcement so I want to make a few very important notes clear:

1) This is NOT a full wipe, deletion, or removal of any of your current characters or data, simply a new Server that we will be using for the main Leafling Early Access experience. You will still be able to access your old characters, however they will be unable to interact with, trade with, or enter the Fresh Start Server.

2) The Fresh Start Server will be going live with Season 2 which will feature a large swathe of improvements to the game. These changes include, but are not limited to: Mythical/Pinnacle Acquisition Speed, Legendary Acquisition Speed, Crafting, Levelling, Mini-Games, PvP, Raiding, and more. These changes are specifically designed to accommodate a fresh new server and keep it as healthy as possible while encouraging trade and player economy, as well as increasing the value of items.

3) Playing in the Fresh Start Server can net you amazing rewards on both your new, and old characters!
We will be awarding a Limited-Edition: Title, Aura, Pet, Skin, Cape, and Hat to players who reach multiple progression thresholds in the Fresh Start Server. These special cosmetics will be the last truly Limited-Edition items ever implemented into Leafling and will never be obtainable again in any other way, so now is the time!
