Game Update
The developers of The Spike are back in production after a long break!
Main Updates
- S-rank players 'Nam Jaehyun' and 'Nishikawa' have been added.
- A player management window has been added.
- 'Beach Volleyball Challenge' has been added.
Detailed Updates
- The blocking AI has been significantly modified. The new AI only applies to players with high average defense and speed.
- Blocking delay increased.
- Enemy players appearing in Tournament Mode won't have the 'Absolute Defense' skill anymore, except for 'Kim Heeseong'.
- Added a function that can be used to reset the customized stats of S-Rank characters.
- The overall speed of the players has been reduced.
- Fixed some lines in story mode.
- The 'Haneul High', 'Bundang High', and 'Choji High' teams' stats in Story Mode have been increased.
- The stats have been increased for All Star team's 'Dark Siwoo' in Tournament Mode.
- The stats of enemy players appearing in Tournament Mode have been increased.
- Adjusted ball in/out judgment.
- Fixed a bug where both teams could score simultaneously when a near-vertical spike was hit.
- Chance balls and non-spiked balls are now defended by players other than the setter. (However, 1) if you are the player closest to the ball except for the setter, and 2) if you don't press the key corresponding to the defense; the setter will defend.)
- The maximum height of the chance ball passed to the opponent on the third touch has been increased.
- The highest score for each stage is now displayed.
- Adjusted the auto attack angle setting for Beginner Mode. Now your player will hit the ball downwards when you are near the net; and the farther you are from the net, the farther you send the ball.
- The initial stats of 'Heo Jaeho' have been adjusted.
- Fixed a bug that caused the screen to shake up and down in Training Mode.
- Spike training has been revamped.
- Fixed the game to make the screen appear wider when your player serves.
- Fixed a bug where the setter would turn around after a successful blocking.
- Fixed a bug that sometimes caused an error message to appear after recruiting a player.
Additional Soundtracks
Added 5 new soundtracks.
