Since releasing Last Message we have been keeping an eye out for videos, streams and reviews. From what we have seen, most feedback is leaning on the positive side!
We are absolutely blown away with everyone’s reviews and playthroughs and could not be more thankful to those that have shared their experiences playing Last Message. Every post greatly inspires us and we have taken all feedback onboard, will to continue learning, make great games and consider where to take Last Message next.
We have been working in our spare time to update the game with fixes to solve game breaking problems, small inconveniences and adding some nice-to-have changes that we didn’t have time for prior to release.
While investigating some black screen issues we discovered that it was an issue on particular Macs. Unfortunately we are unable to test on a Mac on a daily basis. To focus our efforts on what we can do well we will no longer support Mac.
Changes:
- Speedrun timer now starts when signing into Jills laptop
- Key in lobby now has a new model
- Mac no longer supported
Fixed:
- Fixed not being able to put an item in basket after using laptop
- Fixed Speedrun achievement always awarding to player regardless of time played
- Fixed Laptop not scaling for aspect ratios not on 16:9
- Fixed Resolution dropdown not changing resolution
- Fixed items left floating when using fridge
- Fixed file hierarchy start menu button not going away when closing
- Added reset when player falls out of wardrobe
- Fixed sometimes contact text sometimes not bold
- Removed collider on uncleanable can by washing line
Added:
- Controls to menu
- Emojis to chat system
- more zeds outside
- Willow now sends an image
- Added time taken to end credits
- Car outside now shows a car alarm and alerts nearby zeds
- Can now click on profile pictures in Yak to open them
