During this period you may collect pumpkins to obtain tons of free coins and powerful rewards.
You may find the Halloween quests in the achievement screen:

Halloween Gloves - Collect 3000 pumpkins to get a powerful set of gloves;
Halloween Gift - Collect all the halloween skins to get a beautiful gift;
Pumpkins for Gold - Collect 500 pumpkins to get 1000 coins;
Powerful Extension - Transform into pumpkins and kill 100 players to get a powerful extension;
