We have just released a hotfix to our latest build for Lichdom: Battlemage 1.2. This 302.6MB patch includes the following update:

Fixed a configuration bug that kept users from being able to change their difficulty setting
Unlocking Badass difficulty achievements now awards all analogous lower difficulty achievements
