Patch Notes:
- Controller Support (duh)
- Tabbing through the menus.
- Significant QOL improvements overall, but the lore menu feels this the most.
- Some additional clarity in texts throughout. Most notably the text in the skill tree that notates whether or not a skill actually does something is now highlighted blue.
- Rolling buff! It should feel a bit better now and be ever-so-slightly faster.
- Fixed a small bug with Eagle Vision (I know it's been causing so much trouble for you being the essential skill that it is).
Notably missing:
- Widescreen Support: I've mentioned before I wanted to improve this. I dug into that a bit while working on this patch, and it looks like way more of an overhaul than I can take the time to fix at the moment. I'm not giving up on it yet, but there is the chance it might be out of our current scope.
- Configurable controls: This was something I really wanted for this patch, but it would have taken a lot longer to get it out for what I think is not that big of improvement (especially considering the large variety of inputs this game takes). I'm really sorry that this means it's still annoying to play on a non-QWERTY keyboard. That being said, the arrow keys have the same functionality and now the controller is available, so I hope that helps out. As additional means to combat the lack of configuration, you can pick your flavor of controller stick to use, as all three of them are usable (except the right stick in menus for reasons).
This was a significant portion of changes in code and structure. I wouldn't be surprised if some errors slipped past the large amount of (1) QA members on our team (despite their best efforts).
