At the yearly Belgian Game Awards, Brukel will be one of the favorites to win an award. The game has been nominated in 4 categories, and won 3:
  1. Best Debut Game - Winner
  2. Best Serious Game - Winner
  3. Audience Award - Winner
  4. Best Narrative - Nominated

To celebrate the nominations and awards, Brukel will be on sale by 60% during the event and the 1UP weekend.

Last year's winners at the biggest event of the Belgian game industry include games such as Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Space Pirate Trainer.
