Frame rate issue upon initial boot

We're looking into an issue where the frame rate performance may suffer upon initial launch when the game fails to acquire the monitor refresh rate information.

While we continue to investigate the matter, you may be able to DIY-fix the issue by editing the RefreshRate option within the Config.ini file by following the steps outlined below.

*Please make sure the game has been fully shut down.

  1. Open the "Config" file from the folder below using a text editor such as Windows Notepad:

    Mega Man X Legacy Collection
    　C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mega Man X Legacy Collection\

    Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2
    　C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2\

    Note the directory above is the default location. The path may differ if you changed the drive letter or manually modified the game install location.

  2. If you see "RefreshRate=Unknown", change it to "RefreshRate=60.00Hz" and save the file.

  3. Launch the game and verify performance
