Update forthcoming! — Dino D-Day News

Hi all, we wanted to let you know that there will be an update for Dino D-Day shipping this week. In this update there are some bug fixes of course (including a few client crashes that have been an annoyance) but also some new content. The biggest addition will be a new map, "Resistance".

Resistance can be played in Deathmatch, King-of-the-Hill, Capture Point, and Survival mode (if you have Last Stand). In King-of-the-Hill mode the map opens pathways beneath the town square so you'll actually be fighting over tunnels beneath the map. Look out for falling Raptors! In Deathmatch and Capture Point the tunnels are closed off to focus action more on the town square. In Survival mode the entire map is open.

We will also add Sub Base into the regular multiplayer map rotation. Sub Base is a Last Stand map so some of you may already be familiar with it. The one drawback to multiplayer support for this map is we cannot support the German sniper's Pterosaurs on this particular map. It would have required quite a lot of work that likely would have broken a lot of other stuff so for the time being Pterosaurs are disabled on Sub Base. We hope you agree it's a small price to pay for a new multiplayer experience.

The update is currently playable on our Public Beta branch so you can check out the new map by syncing to that. There are still a few more last details to take care of but you will see this update hitting later in the week. Happy hunting!
