Reworked Third-Person Camera
We’ve updated the third-person camera, character movement, and shooting. Movement now feels smoother, character reactions are more expressive, and aiming provides a clearer view of your surroundings.
Camera & Movement
Improved camera positioning while walking and sprinting.
Smoothed out vertical camera movement caused by character motion.
Added subtle camera inertia during acceleration, turning, and stopping after a sprint.
Added a brief camera reaction when landing, with intensity based on the height of the fall.
Reduced abrupt FOV changes while sprinting.
Character Movement
The character now leans slightly forward when accelerating and backward when slowing down.
Added body lean into turns, which becomes more noticeable while sprinting.
After stopping, the character’s body smoothly returns to its normal position.
Aiming & Shooting
Improved the over-the-shoulder aiming camera: the character is positioned closer to the edge of the screen and blocks less of your view.
Fixed uneven camera movement when switching between the left and right shoulder.
Transitioning into aiming is now faster and smoother.
Added a brief reaction of the shoulders and upper body when firing to give shooting more weight.
New Movement Animations
Added a new jump animation.
Added a new roll animation after falling, making landings look more natural and better conveying the impact of the fall.
