Today’s full game update introduces an additional option for selling cars through the Used Cars portal!
From now on, once you reach Reputation Level 4, you can list vehicles for sale with a warranty.
Offering a warranty increases the vehicle’s appeal, allowing you to set a higher selling price without discouraging potential customers.
The warranty period lasts 7 days.
The vehicle’s technical condition affects the chance of it breaking down during the warranty period - the better the vehicle’s condition, the lower the chance of a breakdown.
After selling a vehicle with a warranty, the bank, acting as an intermediary, holds part of the sale price as a deposit. After the 7-day warranty period ends, the money will be returned to you, or you’ll receive an email informing you that the customer encountered problems with their vehicle - in that case, the deposit is forfeited.
The deposit amounts to 30% of the vehicle’s value.
You can track vehicles sold with a warranty, their costs, deposits, and remaining warranty time in the MobiCash app, under the new “Warranties” tab.
If you’re confident in your vehicles and haven’t cut too many corners, combining warranties with some good negotiations can lead to some really profitable deals - but only if you know what you’re selling!
