Ahoy, pirates!
Another week in the books, and another batch of fixes is live. This time we worked on Mimic manners, co-op sync, shop prices and a handful of menu and sound bits. Here's everything that changed.
Tweaks
Reworked how the Ear wanders. While it walks to a new spot, it no longer aggroes on players, and it gives up on a spot it can't reach after a while.
Improved the Anchor's pathfinding, so it sticks to its route.
Smoother camera transition when you go ragdoll.
Hit and heal effects now show on your whole body, not just your eyes.
A freshly installed booty now turns red after the jacuzzi. As it should.
Chapter pages now snap into place as you flip through them, and you can browse them with the mouse.
Updated the prompts on the elevator call lever, with a new "call the elevator" hint in every language.
Balance
Rebalanced shop prices. Starting prices in shops 2 to 5 are higher now, and shops 4 and 5 cost a bit more on top of that.
Gold you earn is no longer capped when you move to a new area, so all of it makes it to the shop.
Solo: the first four levels of Chapter 1 no longer have a quota threshold.
Bug fixes
A Mimic wearing a cauldron no longer twitches when it attacks. It can also drop the cauldron now.
A Mimic no longer teleports when someone puts a cauldron on it, and its headwear sits properly.
Fixed the shop not showing up for one of the players after moving between levels.
Fixed death states going out of sync between players, which also made the end screen hard to read. Revives work properly now too.
The quota progress marker no longer disappears from the counter.
Tavern music now follows the Music slider instead of SFX, so setting it to 0% actually mutes it.
Castle 2: the descending elevator no longer pushes crouching players under the floor.
Castle: players no longer float above the vertical elevator, and hands no longer shake while riding it.
The violin no longer spins around its own axis when you move and turn the camera.
The invisible wall next to the Cracken no longer blocks detached body parts.
