Hello everyone 🖤
Our next Early Access update is getting close.
Version 0.4.9 has been focused heavily on Controller Support, with a large part of this development cycle spent bringing more of Concubine’s menus, inventory interactions, and general UI flow to gamepad.
The update also introduces the new Sweet Hearts Lingerie Set, continues our ongoing improvements to existing armor and clothing, and includes another round of fixes and polish across combat, environments, navigation, audio, and performance.
Let’s take a look.

Sweet Hearts Lingerie Set
The new Sweet Hearts Lingerie Set has been added to Lucieta’s selection. We hope the final design meets your expectations and inspires a lot of Photo Mode shots.

Controller Support
Controller Support was the main focus of this update.
A large amount of work has gone into improving how the game handles navigation between menus and how different interfaces respond when switching to gamepad input.
The Main Menu, Pause Menu, Companion Selection screen, and NPC conversations can now be navigated with a controller. We have also continued expanding inventory support, including direct equipment controls, moving items, splitting and combining stacks, and improved navigation through filtered inventories and vendor screens.
Lucieta’s interface has also received additional controller support, including better navigation between visible items and controller access to the costume and lingerie filters.
We also reworked several parts of the underlying input behavior. Gamepad deadzones and input throttling have been improved across multiple screens, and the mouse cursor should now stay out of the way more reliably when switching to controller input instead of being moved around the screen.
The Skill Tree is also beginning to receive controller support. Skill nodes can now be navigated with a gamepad, although assigning points, attributes, and applying changes still require additional work.
So while Controller Support is not finished yet, 0.4.9 is a significant step forward. There are still menus, settings, and interactions that need to be completed or refined, and we will continue working through them.

Equipment Improvements
We have also continued our ongoing pass over existing armor and clothing.
Several sets received improvements to cloth simulation, morph targets, skinning, weights, clipping, and rendering, including pieces from Loyal Concubine, Forsaken Corsair, Veiled Mistress, Sand Serpent, Armor of Leoni, Dune Dancer, Crescent Protector, and Coarse Leather.
Some of these issues only become visible with particular body shapes, poses, animations, or combinations of equipment, so this remains an ongoing process rather than something we expect to solve in a single update.
The Crescent Protector skirt has also been updated, including the addition of its new belt.
You'll need to find a new one to see the fresh version

Other Improvements
Alongside the main work on controllers and equipment, we made several smaller improvements throughout the game.
Spear combat received additional polish to its special and Fury attacks, including updated hit reactions and stamina balancing. We also fixed animation issues affecting dual-wield idle poses and hand positioning during certain weapon attacks.
World and environment work has continued as well, with navigation improvements in areas such as Rumeli and the Bandit Camp, additional optimization work, and further audio, lighting, fog, and ambience improvements in several locations.
Work also continues on new environment content which we prepare for a future update.

Looking Ahead
Controller Support will remain one of our main priorities after 0.4.9.
There is still work to do before we consider it complete, particularly around the remaining menus, settings, Skill Tree interactions, and edge cases between mouse, keyboard, and gamepad input.
At the same time, we will be taking a broader look at performance and animation improvements, while continuing work on the Moonlit Chamber base as part of our preparations for the upcoming Halloween update.
As always, Early Access feedback plays a major role in deciding what gets our attention first. If you encounter controller navigation problems, equipment clipping, or anything else that behaves unexpectedly, please continue sending us your reports.
Thank you for your continued support, feedback, screenshots, and bug reports.
We hope you enjoy the latest improvements coming with 0.4.9.
