Ahoy, Seafarers!
The lines are cast off, and Seafarer: The Ship Sim is officially leaving Early Access and setting sail into Full Release! ⚓

A lot of our focus over the past weeks has gone into getting Full Release ready, and we hope you'll find that many of your comments and the issues you raised have been addressed along the way.
Our work doesn't stop with today's release either. Further down, we'll also share what we're already working on for our first updates after launch.
But before heading to the Full Release content, we want to let you know:
Thank you for shaping Seafarer.
Early Access gave us the opportunity to build Seafarer alongside people who were willing to tell us very clearly what worked - and what didn't.
Your bug reports, suggestions, reviews, Steam discussions, Discord conversations, and other feedback have helped us identify problems and decide where our attention was needed most.
Please keep telling us what you encounter. You can share your feedback and bug reports here on Steam or join the conversation with us on Discord.
Whether you've been aboard since the beginning of Early Access or are setting sail for the first time today:
Thank you for being part of Seafarer.

And now: here's what's new in Full Release. Eight new missions to discover
Your next assignment might start in a familiar harbour - or somewhere out on the open sea.
Four new main missions are available in harbours:
Flying Dutchman - Available in Crescentport once you reach the highest harbour reputation.
A Light on the Horizon - Available in Stettach.
Forbidden Freight - Available in Stettach once you reach the highest harbour reputation.
Eddy's Delivery Service - Available in Mettington, Crescentport, Stettach and Drachdelen
There are also four new side missions to discover while travelling the open sea:
Seal Appeal
Discord
A Sound Anomaly
Secrets of the Deep
Keep an eye out during your voyages. Not every new assignment begins at the harbour.

More rewarding voyages and earlier unlocks
We've rebalanced mission rewards, including increased rewards for special and campaign missions.
We've also moved two important career unlocks forward:
Fast Travel now unlocks at Level 1
Crew now becomes available at Level 2
This gives you earlier access to more of the systems available during your career.
Replay missions in Quickplay:
Finished a mission you'd like to play again?
All campaign missions and three special missions can now be replayed through Quickplay.
Once you have completed an eligible mission in single-player, it becomes available to revisit in Quickplay.
Return to a favourite assignment whenever you're ready.
Trading and cargo improvements
Trading and cargo handling have received a further balancing and improvement pass for Full Release.
Among the changes:
Harbour trading and the Free Trade economy have received further balancing for Full Release.
Automatically completing a Free Trade operation now calculates its price based on the remaining cargo, rather than using a fixed value.
Additional containers appearing during certain trade and unloading situations have been fixed.
Delivery items can now be placed correctly aboard the Big Trip and Nordic Duchess.
Several issues involving trade cancellation, partial cargo handling, cranes, and loading operations have been addressed.
Feedback has been improved when a trade cannot be started because another trade or shift is already active.
Fine-tune your vessel controls
You can now configure separate dead zones for steering and throttle, giving you more control over how your vessel responds to controller input.
On PC, Push-to-Talk can now be rebound, and we've corrected several input prompts and menu interactions.
Localisation improvements across all languages
We've reviewed and revised the localisation across all supported languages, improving wording and checking for consistent maritime terminology throughout the game.
This includes revisions to campaign text, system terminology, interface text, and several language-specific voice-over and text issues.

What happens next?
Full Release is an important milestone for us, but it is not the end of our work on Seafarer.
We already have additional improvements planned for our first update following release.
Week 1 - UX, guidance & campaign improvements
For our first post-release update, we are currently planning a broader quality-of-life and usability pass.
Our current focus includes:
Better pacing for Campaign Mission 1, improving the flow of the opening mission.
Further polish for Campaign Mission 6.
UX improvements across several game systems.
More tutorial cards, with clearer explanations and practical guidance to help you understand the game's different features and systems.
Auto-Travel for campaign missions, giving you the option to travel directly to the next harbour where your next campaign mission takes place.
These changes are not part of today's Full Release build and are currently planned for the first update following release.
We'll keep you informed as that update gets closer.

Thank you for being part of this journey and as always fair winds and following seas.
Now, step aboard, take the helm and enjoy Seafarer in Full Release!
